EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 12: The Border Security Force today recovered a huge amount of Indian fake currency with a face value of lakhs dumped along the Indo-Pak international border in Ranbir Singh Pura area of Jammu outskirts. "The troops of 122 Bn BSF this evening, on specific inputs, launched a search operation near Kharkola Border Outpost (BoP) along Indo-Pak International Border in R S Pura Sector and seized fake currency worth Rs 14 lakh," official sources here told UNI. They said the currency notes were in the denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500. "The currency has been seized and the matter is being investigated," an official added. |
