JAMMU, Dec 12: Under Operation Sadbhavana, a Library including provision of Books and Furniture was established at Government Middle school, Nurkot, Poonch by Army under the aegis of Poonch Brigade today. The Library was inaugurated by Colonel KJ Singh in the presence of an august gathering of civilians, Army Officers, Teachers & Students of the school.
Teachers of the school appreciated the Army's goodwill gesture of establishing a library for students of far flung border areas.
The civilian present on the occasion praised the Army for establishing the library and said that Army's endeavor towards this direction will go a long way for an all round development of the students and national integration. |
