Jammu, Dec 12: The government has ordered transfer and postings of five KAS officers with immediate effect including Dev Lata, KAS, Special Secretary in the Chief Minister's Secretariat has been transferred and posted as Director, School Education, Jammu vice Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi.As per official sources Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi, KAS, Director, School Education, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu relieving Director Handloom Development Department, Jammu of the additional charge of the post.Verinder Slathia, KAS, Regional Transport Officer, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Chief Minister's Secretariat vice Deva Lata. Arvind Kotwal, KAS, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Development), Jammu has been transferred and posted as Regional Transport Officer, Jammu vice Verinder Slathia.Bhawani Rakwal, KAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Deputy Secretary to Government, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department.
The government also ordered that Secretary, J&K State Electricity Regulatory Commission shall hold the charge of the post of Secretary, J&K State Water Resources Regulatory Authority, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. |
