Jammu, Dec 12 : An impressive Valediction ceremony of the 4th batch of the Trainees of "04 weeks State Disaster Response force (SDRF) First Response Course" was held today.
Youginder Koul IGP HG/CD & SDRF J & K was the chief guest while Sham Lal Sharma. Dy. Inspector General of Police HG/CD & SDRF Jammu was the Guest of honor on the occasion. Gulam Sarwar Chauhan, Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu (Course Director) & Nazir Ahmed Ganai, Dy. SP(Course Coordinator ) facilitated the brief resume and other details of the course, after welcoming the Chief Guest and the other participants. A number of Guest lecturers namely, Vikas Gupta Divisional Commandant Homeg uards Jammu, Dushant Sharma Dy. Controller CD Jammu , Rajeshwar Singh, SP South, Sudershan Kumar Bakshi Dy. SP, Chanderjeet Singh Dy. SP, Ajay Sharma, Dy.SP SDRF 2nd Bn, Jammu Parveen Singh, Dy. SP Area Comndr. Hgds. Jammu, , Dr. Rajinder Thappa, R.Vijay Magotra, Dy. Div Warden Jammu , Alok Nanda, Dy. Div Warden Jammu ,S. Tajinder Singh Premme Vimal Kumar, Dwarka Nath Ganjoo, & Ram Kumar, who had delivered valuable lectures during the course also participated in the valediction ceremony. Out of a total of Ninety six trainees, the 1st three Position holders were distributed the certificates of merit & Cash Reward by the Chief Guest. Besides Memento's were also presented to the Guest lectures etc. The purpose of the Course was to prepare the Jawans of the recently declared STATE DISATER RESPONSE FORCE to meet any eventually arising out of any natural or manm ade disastrous in a better & technical way. The IGP HG/CD & SDRF Jammu on the occasion stressed on for more and more vocational and regular training of the Jawans viz-a-viz the physical endurance training so that at the time of need they are able to meet the challenges and manage the disaster and save the life and property of the people. |
