| Milchar Front condemns Delhi gang rape | | | Jammu, Dec 22-State President Jammu and Kashmir Milchar Front, S.N. Saproo has condemned Delhi gang rape incident strongly.
In a statement, Saproo said this gang rape has roused a big hue and cry and people have awakened from deep slumber and now demand that stringent laws should be framed to wipe away such a heinous acts that has pulled down the heads of all sane persons. But this is not the only case, women have been subjected to ill treated by the people who have not the fear of society or God. Saproo said the statements of some public servants at the top level that we can not hang the culprits but compensate it is perhaps the reflection of the same. Does compensation mean that ones life and honour can be restored and does it mean that such misdeeds can checked, I do not think so, it will mean that rich can do any thing at the force of his wealth and poor man's life and honour is always at stake. He demanded that since the Parliament is in session, the UPA government or the main opposition NDA should introduce a bill in the current session so that the law is made a great deterrent to avoid recurrence of the heinous act of rape. |
