| MV International school celebrates Communication Week | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 22 : To Celebrating Communication Week, MV International School Samba organized an impressive programme in the school premises. The programme began with a school prayer conducted by the senior music teacher Amarjot Kour and then it was anchored by the Advisor (Academics), Harbans Singh. Singh introduced the guest- speakers and clarified their respective roles, while welcoming all concerned on the occasion. Initially, both delved deeply upon importance of variety of communication skills that students need to develop in order to be successful in life. Next, they focused themselves in their respective fields. Dr. Chand Trehan dished out a set of powerful ideas while she guided the senior students, motivating them to gear up for their Board Exam and also indicated how they need to work for their professional future. Interesting ancedotes were deliberated by the counselor, generating lot of queries in students. And she enthusiastically explained them, elaborating their relevance for life. It was indeed a rare experience for the students and the participating pupils felt that it would have enormous influence in their student -life and also in their future. The second session was participatory in nature. Rajesh Kumar was completely caught in between the line of variety of interesting questions, hurled at him by emerging student-leaders, who are aspiring to be professionals of his caliber in the near future. After the end of the sessions, Gourav Abrol, Director MV International, appreciated the event and the way both the speakers conducted themselves in their respective talks. He felt that both the deliberations were timely and matched his concern for the senior students. Personally, he was grateful to Dr (Mrs.) Trehan for giving her precious time to the institution and he was highly pleased to hear the guidance given by the young stalwart Rajesh Kumar from IIT Guwahati to the pupils. Principal, BN Sarkar in his thanks-giving address felt the need of having such counseling-cum- interactive sessions as a part of the school curriculum. He assured the guests and the students that it was certainly a new beginning which was soon to become a school tradition. |
