Kathua, Jan 3: To protest against the Delhi Gang rape a shutdown was observed in Kathua town, but the Govt offices remained open.
The movement of buses, autorikshaws, and matadors remained suspended. Several organizations including the BAR Association, NPSU, SARV DHARM SAVA SIMATI, ABVP, Beopar Mandal and other organization took out processions chanting slogans to give justice to Damini and frame a strong law to deal the crimes against women.
While speaking on the occasion the spokesperson of ABVP Rahul Dev criticized the union Govt for delaying the matter of punishment to accused of Damini Gaga rape. |
