JAMMU, Jan 3: Mohd Imran of district Budgam won silver medal for the state in the recently held 12th Sub Junior National Wushu Championship at Rajnandgoan in Chhattisgarh. Imran contested in 40 kg weight category and lost in the well contested final bout. Two other state players in the four member team, Auquib Mir and Nikhil Kumar also performed well and lost in the quarterfinals stages. Meanwhile, chairman of the Wushu Association of J&K, IGP, HK Lohia congratulated the medal winner and encouraged other budding players from the state on their return, here.
