| DyCM holds public meeting at Khour | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 7 : Describing development of far-off and border areas of the State as priority of coalition government, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand said that various schemes have been launched in the last four years to enhance basic facilities like power and water supply, education, healthcare and road connectivity. Deputy Chief Minister said this while addressing monthly public meeting at Khour. He was accompanied by senior officers of various departments. He said that the present coalition government has embarked on a path of development for the entire state especially far-off and border areas. He said government has launched several welfare schemes for the betterment of the people and asked the people to take the benefit from these schemes. He exhorted upon the officers to ensure that benefits of various development and welfare schemes reach to the real beneficiaries timely. He said that UPA Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi are making liberal funding to the State for the development and prosperity. While reviewing performance under implementation of Kissan Credit Card in Khour, Deputy Chief Minister directed SDM to make coordinated efforts with the line departments for 100% implementation of Kissan Credit Card. |
