| Youth Cong Udh-Doda Lok Sabha constituency allege discrimination by NC led coalition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu/Banihal, Jan 7 : The Youth Congress today organized the protest against the state Government for its step mother treatment with the people of Udhampur Doda Lok Sabha Constituency particularly with youth in employement, centrally sponsored development schemes and development sector.
Led by Pankaj Basotra Advocate, Lok Sabha President of the India Youth Congress from Udhampur Doda Kathua Lok Sabha Constituency the protestors stage strong demonstration outside Banihal Dak Banglow.
A large number of protesters comprising Panches, Sarpanches from Banihal Assembly Constituency was also addressed by Paramjit Singh & Mohd Ilyas Lok Sabha General Secretaries of the Youth Congress, Zahid Ayub Assembly President Banihal of the Youth Congress & Viney Kumar Sr. Youth Congress Leader.
Earlier while addressing the protestors Pankaj Basotra Advocate alleged the NC led coalition government under Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is ignoring the Doda Udhampur Kathua Lok Sabha like earlier National Conference led government for the reason known to all of us. He said that during the regime of Gulam Nabi Azad some major projects of the developments were under taken by the government in the Jammu Province particularly in the Doda-Udhampur-Kathua Lok Sabha Constituency but the same were remained as it was and the funds allotted for the said development projects have been diverted and the people are suffering for want of that projects.
He criticized the Construction Companies for violation the agreement with the state government for providing more than 80% employements to the local youth. He further said that at the time of completion of 4 years of this coalition government the Chief Minister and his publicity wing highlighted the achievements of National Conference government by publishing the photos of Chief Minister and his Father and ignored the Congress stalwarts like Gulam Nabi Azad a Central Minsiter and Saif Ud Din Soz the President of the Main Coalition partner Congress Party.
Paramjit Singh and Mohd Ilyas both Youth Congress Lok Sabha General Secretaries also accompanied with Basotra and asked the youth to come forward and join the Youth Congress under the guidelines of Rahul Gandhi and Shahnwaz Choudhary.
Zahid Ayub Assembly President also highlighted local demands. |
