| PDP alleges NC-Cong coalition for ignoring interests of SC/ST community | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua, Jan 7: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kathua today criticized the NC-Cong coalition for ignoring the interests of people of SC and OBC community and put them in state of worse condition. PDP leaders today said this while addressing a meeting of SC/OBC cell PDP at Kathua wherein H R Chargotra Chairman of Schedule Caste and Other Backward Class wing of PDP of Jammu and Kashmir state was chief guest. In his address criticized the NC-Cong coalition for ignoring the interests of people of SC and OBC community and put them in state of worse condition in the state. He added that the deteriorating social and economical condition of the SC/OBC section across the state is known to the state govt even then not only ruling regime but all political representatives are deliberately ignoring the right of 27% reservation as per the pattern of rest of the country. He further said that PDP is only a political alternative that can bring the welfare among the SC/OBC section because the party has specified constructive policies and programmes particularly for the upliftement of the SC/OBC section of the state. On this occasion Davinder Chalotra was nominated as district president of SC/OBC cell of PDP Kathua with consent of district president PDP S Surinder Singh and demanded the loan to the youth without interest.
