JAMMU, Jan 7: Likewise other events, the inter-college Twenty20 cricket tournament too witnessed walkovers on the opening day of the competition, organised by Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu on the campus ground, here today. In the first match, Trikuta Degree College got walkover Mahant Bachiter Singh College of Engineering and Technology while Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) awarded walkover after the opponent side of Government Degree College Hiranagar failed to report the venue. Meanwhile, the organizers have scheduled two matches for tomorrow. In the first match, Government Degree College (GDC) Mendhar shall take on GDC R S Pura while MIET shall play against GGM Science College in other match of the day.
