| GWC organises AIDS awareness rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Jan 7: To spread awareness about HIV/AIDS among the people, Red Ribbon Club of Government Women College (GWC), Kathua organized a rally here on Monday.
Principal of the College Prof Sohan Lal Bhagat along with college staff flagged off the rally from the college campus. Over one thousand students participated in the rally which started from the college campus.
The students were holding placards with slogan about the HIV/ AIDS. Bhagat called upon the students to aware the masses about the arrival of Red Ribbon Express scheduled to reach at Govindsar Railway Station Kathua on January 8.
A similar rally was organized at Girdhari Lal Memorial Degree College, Kathua Hiranagar where Red Ribbon Club of the college in collaboration with the AIDS Control Society J&K organised the rally.
The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the college alongwith the Convenor of the Club Dr Neeraj Kumar Prof Rachna NSS incharge and senior faculty members of the college were present at the venue |
