| Painting competition organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Jan 7 : To spread awareness about the traffic rule and save driving, weeklong celebration of "Road Safety Week" a painting competition was today organized in the premises of Surya College of Education at Kathua. The competition progra mme was organized by the transport authority of Kathua under the supervision of RTO kathua in which large number of students took part and left the pictorial messages through their drawing skill for having judicious driving by following strictly the traffic and driving norms in order stay alive long ,safe and sound. On the occasion the chief guest SSP Kathua Atul Goel addressed the students and other general participants and emphasized to follow the traffic norms to avoid the accidents which are often caused due to the lack of proper handling of our motors. While speaking to media persons the RTO Ajay Sharma said that the week daylong celebration had a motive to inculcate the driving values into the people of the Kathua through conducting several activities which were aimed to spread the awareness to avoid the accidents in order to save the precious life of any persons during driving or on the way without vehicle. On the occasion Additional SP Zahidha Manhas was the guest of honour accompanied by Trustee Pankaj Dogra, ARTO kathua Rajeshwar Singh Charak, Sohan Lal Sharma, Advocate Sushil Gupta, and others. |
