| Gangster held with pistol, sharp edged weapon | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 7: Domana police claimed to have arrested a gangster and making recovery of one country made pistol and a sharp edged weapon (Toka) from his possession. According to police sources the catch was made on the disclosure of the notorious gangster Vipan Bhoot who was arrested from Ramgarh area in district Samba a couple of days ago. As per police sources, during interrogation Vipan made various disclosures including the name of his one associate who was arrested by police. When contacted Additional SP (ASP) Rural Rajesh Sharma confirmed the incident and said that one Neeraj alias Neelu of Ghomanasa was arrested during a raid conducted at his residence by Domana police led by SHO Bharat Sharma. Police recovered a loaded country made pistol and a Toka (sharp edged weapon). The sustained interrogation of the duo is in progress under Domana Police custody and more revelations including more arrests are expected. Pertinently, notorious gangster Vipan Gupta alias Bhoot who escaped from custody of Domana police station giving a dodge to the police personnel on September 29 was rearrested few days ago. He was hiding somewhere in Janglote area in district Kathua. Based on information when police conducted raid at his residence he rushed from the spot and was finally overpowered at Ramgarh in district Samba.
