Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 7 : While bone chilling winter has forced administration to extend winter holidays in all schools by another week, an insensitive administration forced hundreds of school children to wait in bitter cold at Govindsar for a procession organized to welcome "Red Ribbon Train" which is scheduled to arrive at Railway station Kathua tomorrow.
The children who returned to schools today after their winter break which was later extended, were huddled together by a few self styled leaders of the town to catch public eye and gain political mileage for themselves, in the process causing inconvenience to the children. While young children could be seen shivering in acute cold, the self styled leaders were seen projecting themselves before district administration and political leaders.
The procession was interestingly flagged off by CEO Kathua, who passed orders for extension of winter break in view of severe cold conditions in the region.
