| 3 day unclaimed infant dies at SMGS hospital | | |
Jammu: A 3 day unclaimed female baby died in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), ward in Shri Maharaja Ghulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital at Shalamar today.
The baby was under treatment for her premature birth at NICU ward for recovery. After her birth her parents disappeared from the hospital however the SMGS Hospital administration put the baby on treatment. The little girl died today and an autopsy was performed. A complaint in this connection was also filed with the police for legal action.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports said that a lady appeared to the police and claimed body of her, projecting herself as mother of victim. The matter was also being verified by police. |
