Rajouri, Jan 13: Demanding inquiry against Chairman Jammu Central Co-operative Bank Choudhary Mohinder Singh who is allegedly defaulter of the state financial corporation of Rs 1.80 crore, ex- director Jammu Central Co-operative Bank, Nazir Ahmed Ganai pleaded Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take necessary action and supersede the board and announce fresh election for smooth functioning of the bank. Speaking here at Rajouri in press conference Nazir Ahmed Ganai took serious concerned over the present situation prevailing in cooperative bank and the present Chairman Jammu Central Co-Operative Bank Choudhary Mohinder Singh who is a defaulter of state financial corporation of Rs 1.80 crore. He has just paid back Rs 50 lacs to J&K SFC, insisting on the issue he said enquiry should be initiated against him from where this money comes. Others who spoke on the occasions are Sardar Nirman Singh Chandan, Secretary Labour society Jawahar Nagar, Badri Nath Ex-vice president Municipal committee Rajouri said that there is huge cry among the staff and the promotions are not made on the seniority category many of the juniors are being promoted without any criteria. The recent example is of Romesh Singh Salathia whose retirement was on 30th November 2012 but was given extension and promoted as Dy. General Manager (DGM) from Asstt. General Manager (AGM) and so many examples are there. Badri Nath said that during four years of his tenure the Mohinder Singh was appointed more than 300-400 people all back door entries out of advertised 88 posts only. All the personalities present in the press conference strongly pleaded the government especially, Chief Minister of the State Omar Abdulla to take necessary action and supersede the board and announce fresh election for smooth functioning of the bank. |
