| Rajouri BJP activists march towards LoC | | Boost morale of Army, stage protest against Pakistan | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Rajouri, Jan 13: To boost the morale of Army following Mankote incident, thousands of Bhartiya Janta Party activists under the leadership of party State Secretary Advocate Vibodh Gupta Sunday marched from Rajouri towards Balakote Line of Control. However, they were stopped by the forces at BG where they held demonstration against Pakistan and chanted pro-Army slogans. Army authorities thanked the people for showing sympathy with them. The march started from Rajouri at 10:30 AM in 60 vehicles towards LoC but the cavalcade was stopped by the Manjakote Police. However, the BJP activists insisted to move forward and break the cordon of police. The cavalcade reached BG at 12:30 where Army authorities did not allow them to move forward and requested to return back. Meanwhile, the activists of BJP held demonstrations at BG and demanded government of India to break all ties with the Pakistan till it realize its guilt. They also gave message to the Army that people of India especially people of Rajouri Poonch are at the back of Army and "if need arise they will fight with the army against Pakistan which is an old age practice of the people of Rajouri." The march was also supported by Beopar Mandal Rajouri and its President Vijay Gupta also accompanied the activists. Other prominent who accompany the march included District President Bharat Bhushan Vaid, former President Yogesh Sharma senior leaders Kamal Gupta, Ramrattan Gupta Dinesh Sharma Ranjit Tara, Bauram Sharma, Divender Sharma, Keval Sharma, Talib Hussain, Shabber Choudhary and Amreez Khan. Speaking on the occasion, Adv Gupta said that the main objective of the march was to boost the morale of Army and stage protest against Pakistan's "brutality." Taking a dig at Pakistan, Gupta said that the incident of Mankote is the example of utmost inhumanity. He said that International Community should take the notice of the same and there should be International boycott with the Pakistan. |
