Jammu, Jan 18: Panthers Party today pressed for reorganisation of J&K arguing that if it happens the people of Ladakh, Kashmir valley and Jammu Pradesh could live in honour and dignity and share the fruits of the Indian Constitution. Addressing a public rally in Samba the Panthers Party paid tributes to the two Army martyrs who were brutally killed by the Pakistani Army on January 8 in Poonch sector. The party gave a call to the youth and the students in particular to join 'Chetna abhiyan' to demolish corruption, communalism and criminalisation of politics. Chief patron of the party Bhim Singh declared that development of the Billawar-Basohli-Bani sector is possible only with a district status. He also assured the people that Mashedi and Buggan shall be given block status. In Kathua, the Panthers Party leaders demanded delimitation of the Assembly constituencies without any delay so that the neglected areas like Jathana are brought on the map of development. In Samba, the Samba truck union gave a rousing reception to Panthers Party leaders. The Panthers Party demanded that Samba truck union should be treated at par with outside trucks and the discrimination against it end. |
