JAMMU, Jan 18: Hosted by the Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua under the banner of Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, the annual inter-college men's volleyball tournament shall take place from January 21.
As per the already drawn fixture, 31 teams shall compete for the top honours in this five-day long competition to be held on knock-out basis. Defending champion, Post Graduate (PG) Departments of JU have been given bye in first round.
As many as 15 matches have been scheduled for the opening day of the competition on January 21 by the fixture committee of the Department of Sports, JU.
It was for the second consecutive year that GDC Kathua is hosting the inter-college volleyball tournament. |
