| Two posts of constables in Rajouri be left unfilled: HC | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 18: Vacation Judge J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Hasnain Massodi in a petition filed by Layaqat Ali & Other, directed respondents that two posts of Constables in J&K Auxiliary Police in District Rajouri under Schedule Tribe Category shall be left unfilled till next date.
According to petitioners claim that they have participated in the selection process under Schedule Tribe Category, while all other candidates shown in the select list have been duly appointed but the petitioners have been singled out for discriminatory treatment and were not favoured with the appointment orders.
Court after hearing Adv Davinderpreet Kour appearing for the petitioners issued notice to the respondents returnable within four weeks and issued directions not to filled two posts under ST Category till the next date of hearing. —JNF |
