| ACL demands timely disbursement of wages | | |
Doda: All Casual Laborers (ACL) working in various Municipal Committees of erstwhile Doda district included Bhaderwah,Thatri and Doda are up in arms against the department for failing to pay their wages. Casual laborers who are without wages from last three months today demanded full payment of their wages. A delegation of casual laborers told media that authorities have been delaying the release of wages to casual laborers without any reason.
"We sent number of reminders to the concerned authorities to release wages, but till date nothing has been done," said a casual labourer. "If our wages are not released we will stage protest with our families said another Casual labourers. They said that they are performing their duties adequately but instead of that Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Jammu is not releasing their wages due to which their families are worst suffers .They demanded immediate regularization of their services and release of three months wages. |
