| Burglars loot electronic shop | | |
Kishtwar: Unidentified burglars looted goods from Tanveer Electronic shop at ever busy hospital chowk here on the intervening night of Jan 30 and 31. According to Abrar Ahmed Zarger owner of the shop, he along with his employees closed the shop at around 8.30 PM last night and in the morning when they opened it, they fond goods laying scattered all over. He said the wall on the right side of his shop had been broken and they immediately brought it into the notice of the police.
He said that after burglars have decamped with two Sony digital cameras, mobile phones, memory cards, pen drives, cash worth Rs 20000 and other electronic items from the shop.
It is worthwhile to mention that this is the third burglary incident that took place inside this famous electronic shop in last four years in which the victim has suffered loss of Rs 8 to 10 lakhs. Though Kishtwar police had arrested Mohammad Saleem Kripak and Mudassir Ahmed Dev last time and recovered the stolen material from the position, they have failed to prosecute both the accused despite having clear proofs against them. |
