| NCP leaders lambasts state Government over DPS accident | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 9 : NCP, General Secretary, Sudar-shan Choudhary has lambasted state government over recent accident at Delhi Public School, where a teenager girl was crushed by school bus. Choudhary vociferously condemned this shocking incident and paid his tribute to the departed soul. A candle light procession was also held by the students of the private schools at Greater Kailash led by Sudarshan Choudhary. The procession was joined by large number of people. "During the recent past deaths of school children have taken place in Ramgarh, Greater Kailash and now in DPS Jammu. Many precious lives have been lost in road accidents, but state Government or concerned agencies have not taken remedial measures so far" he said. He further said, "It is extremely appears that the Government lead by NC has failed badly on all fronts and have no right to be in power. I appeal to all the parents of the students of the private schools to come on one platform and raise their voice against the respective school organisations for the safety of their wards." "No doubt a committee has been constituted by the DC Jammu, to probe in DPS case and also to make its recommendations. But it is also necessary to follow the recommendations of such committees in letter and spirit and not to let it go simply an Eye Wash" he added. "Despite our repeated protests over such incidents school authorities have failed to keep one helper with a bus who can control the students while boarding and de-boarding the buses. Greater Kailash Girl was also crushed under the rear wheels of the bus while de-boarding the bus and Ramgarh students also met the same fate" Choudhary said. |
