| SPHS holds prize distribution function | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 9 : Shiva Public High School (SPHS) Kathua today held prize distribution function in the premises of the school. As per press release, on the occasion, Joint secretary J&K state board of school education Jammu Vidhya Rattan Sharma was the chief guest and deputy secretary of J&K board of school education R S Charak was the guest of honour on the occasion. The students of the school from class first standard to 10th standard were facilitated with awards for showing their record breaking meritorious performances in their studies in their respective classes. Students including Amit Verma, Jigyasha Mahajan and Monika Verma and Hardik Abrol stood first, second and third position respectively. Whereas the students of class 8th brought laurels in board examination by getting 100% remarkable result and similar pride made by the students of class 10th were also facilitated and honored with awards. Chief Guest said that the students are the future of any nation so their better education reflects the strength and progress of the nation, and the excellent performance shown by the students of this school also can inspire the entire student community. The principal of the school Maroo Ram Gupta told the media person that the aim of the function was only to boost and encourage the students for getting high meritorious performance, for which the students of the school are also involved in various educative and sports activities which are being held in school time to time. |
