UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: Udhampur University Campus organized a farewell function cum Fresher's party at Community hall, Udhampur.
The programme was organised by the Fouth years students of Economics and Commerce Departments under the guidance and supervision of faculty members of the campus.
The Rector Udhampur Campus, Prof. Keshav Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
The function started with lighting of the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Sharma appreciated the performance of the seniors in academics and in the co-curricular activities and wished them success in their professional career and future life.
Highlighting the importance of holding such functions in educational institutions, he said that these events provide an opportunity to the students to expose their hidden talent on a common platform which further help in their all round personality development.
The students also presented cultural items which comprised of group dances and songs. The gifts were also distributed to the outgoing students of the college. |
