GANDERBAL: For the smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2013, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Mr. Itrat Hussain Rafique today convened a meeting of officers to take stock of the arrangements being put in for the SANJY-2013 scheduled to commence from June 28, 2013. Threadbare discussions were held pertaining to various aspects for the convenience of Yatries and smooth transport facilities. The availability of provisions for medical facilities, safe drinking water, power, sanitation, installation of tents for accommodation besides parking facilities were also discussed in the meeting.
Mr. Rafique enjoined upon the officers to put in place all the arrangements well in time for the smooth conduct of the Yatra. He also exhorted upon concerned officers to clear the road for plying of smooth traffic from Ranga Mod to Baltal. Among others, Chief Executive Officer, Sonamarg Development Authority, Chief Medical Officer, Ganderbal, Superintending Engineer Mechanical Engineering Division, Executive Engineer PHE and other officers attended the meeting. |
