AIC of SC, ST organizes commemorate function at Budgam

BUDGAM: All India Confederation (AIC) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe today organized a function at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall Budgam to commemorate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his 122nd birth anniversary. The Madhya Pradesh Govt Social Welfare Minister, who is also Chairman of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Foundation, Mr. Indrash Gunji was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gunji said that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had worked a lot for the welfare and betterment of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. He assured that the demands of these sections of people would be brought in to the notice of State and Union Governments.
Vice President of the Committee, Madam Chaura also spoke on the occasion.
The State Organization Secretary, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary gave a list of demands which include recruitment drive in Pahari areas and enhancements in Gujjar reservation.
The Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Mr. Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat assured that all possible support from the district administration.
