KATHUA: In the weekly initiative ‘PRAYAS’ launched to redress the grievances of the public telephonically, the district administration here today received 22 calls of the public during one hour session from 10:00 A.M to 11:00AM. The session was chaired by ADDC, Ajay Jamwal, along with ADC, Rohit Sharma, ACR , S P Rakwal, SDM Billawar Vikas Gupta, CEO , S K Soodan. GM DIC Amarjeet Singh, XENs of different works departments and district officers. Callers from the remote areas of Badnota , Basohli, Billawar and Hiranagar called and registered their demands and grievances including check on rash and negligent driving besides use of pressure horns, provision for cleanliness and hygiene and adequate lightening of the public places, Home delivery of gas cylinders, eviction of illegal encroachments, improvement in power supply scenario. ADDC assured the callers that the needful would be done to redress their grievances within one week time. |
