| Socio-economic development to get impetus this year: Rather | | Addresses public meeting at MehindiPora-Pakharpora | | Early Times Report
BUDGAM (MEHINDIPURA), May 29: Asserting that socio-economic development will get further impetus during the current year, Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather today sought people’s cooperation in the implementation and monitoring of development and social welfare works in their respective areas to ensure better results of schemes.
Addressing a large public meeting at MehindiPora-Pakharpora in tehsil Chadoora today, Mr. Rather said that the government has launched a multi-pronged strategy to boost the socio-economic activities in nook and corners of the state adding that all the available resources have been pooled for this purpose. He cautioned the people about the deceptive politics of the opposition which is desperately trying to mislead the people about the landmark achievements of the present government.
