Shabir inspects drug testing Lab, TB Center Dalgate 5/30/2013 12:37:47 AM SRINAGAR, May 29: The Government has released plan allocation of Rs. 7 crore this fiscal to Drug organisation for upgradation of testing infrastructure in the Drug Testing Laboratories at Srinagar and Jammu. This was revealed by Minister of State for Health, Mr. Shabir Ahmad Khan during his inspection to Drug Testing Laboratory, Dalgate Srinagar here on Wednesday. The Health Minister said that budgetary allocation of the Organisation could also be enhanced to streamline the working of the organisation. The Health Minister further said that Government has notified CDT Laboratory Kolkata and RDT Laboratory Chandigarh for testing of biological drugs. He said in this regard the private recognized laboratories of national repute would be also encouraged adding that 10 private laboratories have so far applied under expression of interest for empanelment.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
