DDC holds public grievances redressal camp

UDHAMPUR: To listen to the problems and demands of the people of far flung areas, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mrs. Yasha Mudgal, today convened a public grievances redressal camp here at of village Lander.
Joint Director Planning, Mr. Rakesh Jamwal, Executive Engineers, PHE, PDD, PMGSY, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, other district heads, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Lamberdars and Chowkidars , prominent citizens and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
The representatives of various panchayats put forth various demands related to their respective areas which mainly included postings against vacant posts in various educational institutions at Lander, Galyot & Katti, repair of Naibat office , early completion of PHE projects for various panchayats, electrification of left out morhas, up-gradation of Primary Schools, early completion of filter plant at lander, construction of community hall, revision of head load charge of ration, black topping of Panchari road upto Dyari Jungle, opening of health, animal husbandry and sheep dispensaries, early completion of inspection hut at Sankri.
The DDC gave patient hearing of demands and problems being faced by the locals. She assured them that their genuine problems would be redressed on time bound manner. She instructed all the heads of the departments to work with missionary zeal and dedication for resolving the issues of the people leaving no scope of complain.
Mrs. Mudgal called upon the representatives of panchayats to monitor the construction and other developmental works being initiated in their respective areas for better implementation of decisions taken in the grievances camps. She asked sarpanches to prepare a list of electric pole required in their respective area for electricity connectivity and submitted the same to her office so that needful action would be initiated in this respect.
The DDC further assured the people that the demands which are not in her competency would be projected to the higher authorities by taking personal initiatives to resolve on priority basis.
