| `Just Call does not work in Jammu' | | | Et Report
Jammu, Aug 1: The Just Call service of Jammu has become a liability for people of Jammu as contact numbers being provided by this infotel service are either outdated or the service does not have available details of various companies or offices.
The Just Call service of Jammu is totally different from the Just Dial service of rest of the country where contact numbers of almost each and every person is available within no time.
The Just dial services send contact information of various companies, offices and business houses through short message service to the inquiry seekers within no time. But when it comes to Just Call of Jammu, the inquiry seeker has to wait for few minutes after giving all the details of the required contact but in response the Just Call operators either provide outdated information or don't have the requisite numbers available with them.
"Hello this is --- from Just Call, how can I help you" is the first line which the inquiry seeker hears after calling the number 2476060, but in response there is only disappointment.
This infotel service was started in Jammu few years back and almost in every office, private or government, the stickers of Just Call were visible as people of Jammu got a new place to get the information of various business houses, multinational companies, government offices and others.
But with the passage of time, the service got bad to worse and numbers available with the infotel company got outdated.
Due to absence of any such service in Jammu, apart from the one BSNL service, which only has information of government offices alone, the Just Call gave a hope to people to get connected with everyone within no time.
But there is only disappointment and nothing more. It seems that the infotel service provider never updated its directory and didn't try to sharpen the services.
Again the bad services being provided by Just Call has created a vacuum in Jammu with respect to infotel services. The Just Call must put things in order and improve its services otherwise someone else would come and take its space. |
