| Salman Khan's yatra.com promises prove a hoax | | | Avinash Azad JAMMU, Aug 1: Now a days, many national dailies are flooded with "yatra.com" advertisements with famous Bollywood star Salman Khan offering "50% OFF ON HOTEL BOOKING" but beware of such advertisements as they are bound to disappoint you to the core and spoil your well earned holiday. Contrary to tall claims made by Salman Khan of providing best hotels, you will get only a simple lodge against payment for a five star hotel stay. Yatra.com, an eminent online travel portal in India, US and UK, which claims of providing best deals in flight bookings, hotel bookings and holiday packages is losing trust and credibility amongst its clients who are fast spreading word about its misdoings. "Find cheap domestic flights to destinations in India or book cheap international flights within minutes. You can also easily book/cancel IRCTC train tickets on Yatra. With over 5,000 hotels in India and more than 90,000 hotels associated with us worldwide, rest assured, we'll get you an appropriate hotel no matter the budget. Creating happy and satisfied travelers is our motto", the company claims on its website, but all such claims are mere a hoax, some customers claim. The customers, who take their holiday package from yatra.com agency, are not served and care for, as per advertisements. "I took a weekend package from the yatra.com, when reached at destination I found floor of room broken while AC was not working, while the room itself present a shabby look for the want of paint and maintenance, besides bathroom tap and flush were not properly working. I called Aditya (011243040562) in Yatra.com Gurgoan office. He told to me send an email accordingly attached with the photo of room. I did as I was told and called Aditya again. He said they will change the hotel. But after brief interval Aditya and other representatives stop responding my call. After three days I went to another destination that hotel was even more worst than the previous one. However when they book the package they claimed they will provide three star hotel accommodation from yatra.com. When I came to India I call everyday but they don't bother to answer my single call. Only twice they answer my call and Aditya briefly said he will transfer the call to other department who has booked hotel for you and kept me waiting on hold making me more irritated. "One can never expect, such ill treatment and deceit from an eminent travel service provider Gupta further said it was like "Oonchee Dukaan, pheeka Pukwan" as the customers are being fleeced through glossy advertisement, where celebrity like Salman Khan was offering them such packages. He asserted that most of customers have same complaints that the agency was cheating its customers. |
