| YAIKS president calls on Additional Secretary Home | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) President RK Bhat was called by Ministry of Home Affairs Additional Secretary K Shandan, at North Block New Delhi to discuss PMs Rehabilitation Package for Kashmiri Migrants. While highlighting the demands Bhat said that PM’s Employment package has been partially implemented and KPs wanted following demands to be taken note of and accepted immediately, The demands included filling up of remaining 4550 posts of sanctioned 6000 posts by PM. "Among these 4500 posts we also appeal to adjust those 221 candidates who are fighting their battle in the court of law. The High court of J&K has already reserved these posts for the sufferers. In this regard the decision was also taken in the Cabinet vide Cabinet Decision No. 143/19/2011 Dated 19.08.2011 and subsequently vide Govt. order no. Rev/MR/170 of 2011 dated 25.08.2011 while de-reserving the 800 reserved posts from pending merit list already prepared by the recruitment agency (SSB)", Bhat apprised Shandan. One time compensation in favour of aver-aged youth of the community who have been ignored since last 23 years, separate accommodation and other allied facilities to be provided to employees selected under PM's Rehabilitation Package in Valley to restore the confidence among Kashmiri Pandits, updating of proper voter list of migrants as per the registration of migrants available at Relief Commissioner's office Jammu and other parts of the Country were among the demands raised by Bhat. R. K. Bhat appealed Secretary GOI for speedy implementation of PM’s Employment package. |
