| J&K Movement for Peace appeals people to maintain communal harmony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: The members of All J&K Movement For Peace and Justice Kuldeep Kumar Rao and Dr G S Charak have appealed the public of Doda and Kishtwar in general and youth in particular that they should remain vigilant and not fall a prey to the machinations of the vested interests irrespective of their religion, caste and creed. "They should maintain peace and communal harmony in all circumstance. That is the only wise approach for the general welfare of every body irrespective of their religion, caste and creed. Central and State governments want to divert the attention of the public from the basic issues of corruption and big scams. They are not ready to enact Jan Lok Pal bill because they do not want to expose their black deeds and do not want to bring back their black money stashed in foreign banks. Therefore they try to keep people engaged in riots and conflicts," Rao and Charak said in a statement. "We can not expect any justice from the set up where spurious case investigations are prepared in such a way that the culprits get clean chits for want of solid proofs. The glaring example is the false report of Assistant Scientific officer of FSL Abdul Ghani Bhat to hush up spurious drug case. Usually government submits the reports of such officers which are based on false investigations in order to prove their innocence and befool the people and make them suffer for no fault of their," they added. They lamented that the district administration was not serious to take action against the miscreants who want to disturb the peaceful communal harmony. |
