| Ramadan close to end, CAPD fails to ensure PDS sugar supply at Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: In what could be termed as administrative inertia coupled with discrimination on part of state government that they have failed to made procurement of PDS sugar even after lapse of two months.
The tall claims of providing sugar in the holy month of Ramdhan proved hollow with just week has left for the conclusion and people are up in arms against government for befooling them on the pretext that they given sugar in Ramadhan but nothing so far.
The CAPD department which is entrusted with the job of maintaining stock of government ration has so far failed on all fronts.
Various government depots in rural as well as urban areas are not having adequate stock of ration and consumers have to move empty handed resulting in great inconvenience to them. |
