| JU team visits hostels, takes stock of availability of essentials | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 13: Registrar Jammu University Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar alongwith a team of officers on Tuesday visited various hostels in the Campus and interacted with the students. They enquired about their well being and took stock of the facilities available to them. The team comprised Prof. N. K. Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Shailender Singh, Associate Dean and Dr. Jitender Khajuria, Incharge Joint Registrar. They also took stock of the availability of essentials in all the hostels and asked the Wardens and catering staff to ensure quality food to the hostel inmates. The visit comes in the wake of curfew in Jammu for the past three days. Later, the Registrar and the team apprised Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar about the status of essentials and availability of other in the hostels. He urged the team to remain in close contact with the hostel inmates and ensure that they do not face any difficulty. |
