SRINAGAR, Sept 1: Nishant Club and National Dalgate among four teams won the matches in the on going Power Development Corporation (PDC) League Football Tournament, organised by DFA Srinagar at Polo Ground, here today.
In the first match of the day, Nishant Club trounced United Barzulla Football Club by five goals to one. Hilal, Roman netted two goals to nil while Aqib scored one. From United Barzula, Rameez was the lone scorer.
National Dalgate made it a one-sided contest outplaying Bilalia Club by four goals to nil. Irfan, Waseem, Basit and Abid were the scorers. In another match of the day, Sirsyed Football Club downed Blue Brazillian Club by three goals to nil. Imad, Waseem and Afaq scored the goals.
In the fourth match, Madina Sports beat Ari Bagh Club 3-1. Inayat, Asif and Musharaf scored one goal each while Zubair reduced the margin from Ari Bagh Club.
Meanwhile, in Division-A, Kashmir United held Syed Tajudin Club to a 1-1 draw. Zahid Yaqoob netted the first in the 29th minute. The lead was equalised by Syed Tajudin Club in the 52nd minute through Tariq.
In Super Division, the tie between Rahim Green Solina Club and J&K Forest ended in a goalless draw. |
