Hiranagar, Sept 1: Block Congress Committee has demanded construction of protection bandh at Ujh, Tarnah and Bain rivers for the protection of agriculture land and houses.
According to press release, Bishan Dass Sarpanch said that the long pending demands of giving status of tehsil to Ghagwal, status of Sub division Hiranagar and new CD block to Kootah, Marheen and Rajpura be addressed at the earliest. He also demanded that compensation for house collapsed/ damaged , crops / agriculture land being wasted away in recent heavy floods and rain.
Prominent those are present in the meeting were Prem Lal, Sat Pal Choudhry, Bhagwan Dass, Ganesh Dass, Dutt Kumar, Sat Pal Sharma beside others. |
