Jammu, Sept 1: A protest demonstration was organised by Bhartiya Janta Party at Bahu Fort and Jalalabad, Sunjwan Jammu against Power Development Department (PDD) for long curtailments and failure to restore power supply in said areas.
According to press release, BJP condemned the PDD for its slow process in redressing the problem of the areas.
While addressing the protestors, Kr. Rajeev Charak said that the people of the areas have been facing hardships but PDD authorities were least bother about the issue.
"The Bahu Fort areas are in dark since seven days while Jalalabad since four days. People especially infants, students, old aged and ill and sick peoples are facing the problem unwillingly", he said.
Charak added that maximum transformers of Jammu region have been damaged due to the negligent and malafied intention of concerned department. |
