| Protest against alleged nexus of CAPD, Black marketers' staged | | | early times report Kathua, Oct 25: Locals in Kathua alleging nexus between some black moles within CA&PD and the black-marketers staged protest urging state government to take action against the alleged nexus so that supply of ration is streamlined to the deserving and needy. Residents of Ward No 2, 4, 5, 6 and 14 assembled today morning here in Kathua and staged protest against alleged nexus of some black moles within CAPD Department and some traders is siphoning the CAPD ration and kerosene oil meant for the deserving people putting innocent and poor consumers at loser's end. Protestors namely Pushpa Devi, Rattan Chand, Kewal Krishan, Sanjay, Abhijeet, Rani Devi, and amany others blamed the CAPD Officials and administration for encouraging black-marketing of ration and kerosene oil by some moles. They also said that when we approached the CAPD department under the leadership of RTI activist Paramjeet Singh Gurain about shortage of kerosene oil, but in response the department also told us that CAPD has given three deliveries of kerosene oil to the depot holder. The several residents alleges that such fraudulent practices are occurring in Kathua and urged the state government and administration take serious note of such complaints to discourage such corrupt practice. |
