| Cong condemns attempts to malign Dr Manohar | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 25: District Congress Committee condemned some opportunistic political leaders who have targeted and accused the Minister of State for Finance, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma for inciting communal tension in Billawar.
While addressing a press conference today, MLC and President District Congress Committee Kathua Subash Gupta opposed the communal forces that have been creating confusion by spreading the wrong and unproductive messages with a motive to flourish hate among communities and disturbing the balance of communal harmony of the area. He said some communal political parties are doing shameful and divisive politics just to divide the society.
On the occasion, Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee Manohar also addressed the press conference and condemned the allegation leveled against Dr Manohar Lal Sharma. He condoned the act of burning effigy of Manohar Lal who is a secular and progressive politician but some self-centered and opportunistic political groups are deliberately trying to damage his image. |
