| JKBSG organizes "Pravesh" & "Pratham" camps for school children | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 25: J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides organized "Pravesh" & "Pratham" camps for students of Rich Harvest School from 19th Oct. to 23rd Oct.
New students as well as old students took part in camp. During the camp representatives of J&K Bharat Scouts (Harcharan Singh & Manjeet Kour), concerned teacher (Monika Bharti) as well as principal (Shivani Singh ) were present . camp lasted for four days. Students who participated for camps were divided into four sub categories -"Cubs and Bulbuls" (Class 1st to 4th) and "Scouts and Guides" (Class 5th to 8th).
Camp for "Cubs and Bulbuls" was taken by Manjeet Kour & camp for "Scouts and Guides" was taken by Harcharan Singh.
Camp started with special prayer of Bharat Scouts & Guides. Students were told about the importance of Bharat Scouts & Guides. Students who took part for Pravesh Camp were told about history of Bharat Scouts & Guides.
They imparted knowledge about the symbols as well as uniform of Bharat Scouts & Guides. Students who took part for Pratham Camp were acquainted with the syllabus (patrol knowledge, bp six exercises, wood craft sign, first aid etc).
Camp was concluded with best wishes from Trustee (Ruchi Charak), Harcharan Singh & Manjeet Kour to all students. |
