Jammu, Oct 25: Terming October 26 is a special day in the history of India as well as in the state chapter of Jammu and Kashmir, the Civil Society of Jammu has decided to celebrate this day under the banner of "Civil Rights Forum tommorrow.
According to spokesperson of forum we are proud of this important historical day, when instrument of accession was executed by Maharaja Hari Singh in October 26, 1947 and to pledge to maintain for unity, integrity of the state with rest of India. "We (Forum) appeal to celebrate this auspicious day, he urged the jammuites and added that the accession with India is complete final, irrevocable and thus unchallagable question this accession. The statement said that different associations and public personalities have decided to celebrate it at Kachi Chawni, Arora Bans Sabha on October 26 at 3:00 p.m.
Meanwhile Former Vice-President of Bar Association (Adv) Ramesh Arora has been appointed as Convener of "Civil Rights Forum" while other prominent members include Chander Mohan Sharma (Adv.), Rajesh Thapa former Secretary Bar Association, Harashwardan (Adv.), Vijay Grover (Adv.), President Sale Tax Bar K.K. Proach (Retd. Session Judge), Rajesh Kesari, President Shiv Sena Hindustan, Gulam Ali, Sukeel Gupta, Sanjay Mehta (Adv.), Ram Pal, Dogra Liberation Front, Kapil Arora, Sanjay, Zahru Deen, Govind Sarin, Kulbushan Grover, Chandan Sethi and others. |
