Jammu, Oct 25: Activists of Speak India Environmental Foundation (SIEF) Jammu planted saplings of different plants at Hari Singh Higher Secondary School Jammu during a plantation drive organized under the leadership of Manmohan Kumar district president of SIEF Jammu. In this programme , social activist and youth leader Vikram Malohtra attended the programme as chief guest and also planted more than 20 plants. Students, volunteers of NGOs faculty members of school also participated in the drive.
Earlier special invitee Vikram Malohtra in his address appreciated the functioning of host organization to make environment healthy by planting plants. Vice principal Ram Pal also appreciated the step undertaken by the SIEF. Among others who participated in this campaign included Ganesh Kumar Distt vice president SIEF Jammu, Sachin Gupta secretary SIEF, Sunil Kumar Bhasin, Sachin Gupta Vishal Gupta lecturer, Gobind Sharma NCC officer, Tarsem Singh, Physical instructor and others. |
