Jammu, Oct 25: Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and Former Member CWC-AICC Gulchain Singh Charak today Sub District Hospital (SDH) BIshnah visited the injured persons who were injured in Pak shelling during intervening night of Oct 24/25 and also visited border villages.
Senior Congress leader Gulchain Singh Charak inquired the well being of Swaran Lal and Nishant residents of border Village Pindi Charakan undergoing medical treatment at Sub District Hospital, Bishnah after they got injured at around 0330 when a shell exploded near their house.
Being moved by the plight of the injured, Congress leader rushed to border villages which included Pindi Charkan, Pindi Camp, Kathar etc to take stock of the situation.
During his visit Charak interacted with the villagers who took up the cause of the security of the lives of the innocent civilians and after giving a patient hearing to villagers Charak assured them their plight will be taken up with concerned spheres
Meantime he has appealed the state government to immediately make necessary arrangements in place such as proper food and shelter needed for lodging the villagers at safer places. |
