Jammu, Oct 25: J&K Non Gazetteed Secretariat Employees Association has thanked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Planning Minister Ajay Sadotra, Chief Secretary Iqbal Khandey and other officers for showing keen interest for creation of the post of Director General, Economics and Statistics besides elevating B.R. Lachotra as Director General, Economics and Statistics. According to press release, an emergency meeting of NGSEA was held today under the chairmanship of P. S. Jamwal, President J&K NGSEA wherein threadbare discussions on the issues of the cadre like promotion of AD's to Dy. Directors, SO's to AD's, SA's to SO's etc was held. It was decided to further pursue the issues at the Directorate as well as at the administrative levels for early redressal of their various pending demands.
They also thanked, Secretary Planning & Dev. Department, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary, GAD and Special Secretary, Planning & Dev. Deptt for creation of Director General's post. |
