JAMMU, Oct 25: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Kickboxing Association, the Ist State Championship got underway at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The competition was declared open by general secretary, Abhishek Jain and technical director, Vivek Bassan. The two-day meet shall conclude tomorrow.
BOYS: Under-14 yrs: Below 18 kg: Arnav, Ist; Bargav, 2nd; Aryan Manhas, Shorya and Ashmit, joint 3rd. Below 22 kg: Udayraj , Ist; Harshvir Singh, 2nd; Nikhel Singh and Jaswinder Singh, joint 3rd. Below 26 kg: Karan, Ist; Sahil, 2nd; Vansh and Naresh, joint 3rd. Below 30 kg: Souravdeep, Ist; Parveen, 2nd; Akshit and Nikhil, joint 3rd. Below 32 kg: Nitiya, Ist; Mohd Irfan, 2nd; Raghav and Romit, joint 3rd. Below 40 kg: Danish, Ist; Abhi Pika, 2nd; Dheeraj and Amaninder, joint 3rd.
